This Special Issue on the privatization and globalization of security in Africa contains seven articles focused on various aspects of global security assemblages on the continent. It brings together experts from the disciplines of anthropology, criminology and international relations, and includes articles focused on Darfur, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and South Africa.
